A presente invenção refere-se à folha superior (e película) não tecida e materiais de aquisição/distribuição tratados com um acabamento livre de tensoativo sintético, hidrofílico, artigos absorventes para cuidado de bebê ou incontinência que contêm esses materiais e métodos para aplicação de tais acabamentos e/ou fabricação de tais artigos absorventes. Uma folha superior ou película não tecida ou outros materiais de aquisição/distribuição que têm um acabamento livre de tensoativo sintético, hidrofílico, que são úteis para produtos absorventes para cuidado de bebê e incontinência que contêm esses materiais. Esses materiais são feitos tratando intimamente os materiais não acabados brutos na ausência de bolhas de ar com uma solução aquosa de um acabamento livre de tensoativo sintético, hidrofílico, e então secagem dos materiais.
