Uma subtransmissão (56) acoplada a uma saída da transmissão inclui uma pluralidade de configurações de marcha selecionáveis, incluindo pelo menos uma de uma marcha a frente, uma marcha neutra, uma marcha a ré e uma marcha de estacionamento. Um controlador eletrônico (36) é eficiente para controlar eletronicamente a configuração de marcha da subtransmissão.
