Abstract
MÉTODO PARA AUMENTAR O NÍVEL DE ÁCIDOS GRAXOS ÔMEGA-3 EM GADO BOVINO.Divulga-se aqui um método para alimentar gado bovino com baixas doses de algas para aumentar o nível de ácidos graxos poli-insaturados ômega-3 incluindo ácido docosaexenoico (DHA) e ácido eicosapentenoico (EPA) em ambientes de alimentação de gado bovino comerciais. O método para aumentar o nível de ácidos graxos ômega-3 em gado bovino compreende alimentar o gado bovino com uma quantidade entre cerca de 0,05 e 0,8 libra por dia de algas.
