Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a um método para tratamento de material de biomassa por fermentação, o dito método compreendendo um pré-tratamento do material de biomassa por termohidrólise e explosão úmida, resultando em um produto intermediário com uma concentração de matéria seca superior a 25% e uma temperatura superior a 90°C, que deverá ser introduzido na fermentação, em que uma parte do conteúdo do tanque de digestão usado para a fermentação é recirculado e misturado com uma parte do produto intermediário do pré-tratamento.
