Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a várias técnicas para migrar entidades virtuais via uma sub-rede baseada em rótulo. Em uma concretização, um método inclui receber pacotes associados com migrar uma máquina virtual a partir de um nó de rede de origem da sub-rede para um nó de rede alvo da sub-rede. Os pacotes recebidos individualmente incluem um rótulo associado com um caminho da rede a partir do nó de rede de origem até o nó de rede alvo na sub-rede. Em resposta a receber os pacotes, o método inclui examinar os rótulos dos pacotes para determinar os caminhos da rede associados com os rótulos e encaminhar os pacotes segundo os caminhos da rede determinados na sub-rede.
