Trata-se de um aduto sólido poroso que compreende cloreto de magnésio e etanol distinguido por uma relação específica entre o teor de álcool, o raio de poro médio e a quantidade de porosidade que deriva de poros com um raio compreendido entre 100 e 1.000 nm para gerar componentes de catalisador que, por sua vez, geram poliolefinas providas de uma porosidade maior.
