Abstract
FIBRA INORGÃNICA COM ENCOLHIMENTO E RESISTÃNCIA MELHORADOS. Uma fibra inorgânica contendo sÃlica e magnésia como os principais componentes de fibras que inclui ainda um aditivo de óxido de estrôncio pretendido para melhorar a estabilidade térmica da fibra. A fibra inorgânica apresenta bom desempenho térmico a 1260°C e superior durante 24 horas ou mais, mantém a integridade mecânica após exposição à temperatura de uso e apresenta baixa biopersistência em fluidos fisiológicos. São também proporcionadas formas de produto de isolamento térmico, métodos de preparação da fibra inorgânica e de artigos termicamente isolantes utilizando isolamento térmico preparado a partir de uma pluralidade de fibras inorgânicas.
