A presente invenção se refere ao uso de compostos da fórmula (I) em que R1, R2, R3, n, X e Y têm os significados dados na descrição, para o controle de pragas animais, em particular, insetos e/ou ácaros e/ou nemátodos, por encharcamento do solo, por aplicação por imersão no solo, imergindo-se raÃzes, tubérculos ou bulbos, ou por injeção no solo ou para tratar sementes.
