Abstract
MÃTODO E DISPOSITIVO PARA A DETECÃÃO E AVALIAÃÃO DE HIPEREMIA REATIVA USANDO PLETISMOGRAFIA SEGMENTAR.Um método para a medida de hiperemia reativa em um indivÃduo é descrito. O método inclui a execução de uma primeira pletismografia segmentar de pulso para gerar uma curva de complacência arterial basal e/ou uma curva da área de pressão (P-A) basal; a execução de uma segunda pletismografia segmentar de pulso para gerar uma curva de complacência arterial hiperêmica e/ou uma curva P-A hiperêmica; e o cálculo de uma área entre as curvas basal e hiperêmica. O tamanho da área pode ser usado como uma indicação da disfunção endotelial (ED) e doenças relacionadas à disfunção endotelial.
