Abstract
SISTEMA E MÉTODO DE SOLIDIFICAÇÃO DIRECIONAL A presente invenção refere-se a um aparato e a um método para purificar materiais que usa uma solidificação direcional rápida. Os dispositivos e métodos mostrados provêm controle sobre um gradiente de temperatura e uma taxa de resfriamento durante a solidificação direcional, a qual resulta em um material de pureza mais alta. O aparato e os métodos da presente invenção podem ser usados para preparar material de silício para uso em aplicações solares tais como células solares.
