Também são divulgados aqui métodos de controle de vegetação indesejável, que incluem a aplicação de (a) penoxsulam ou um sal agricolamente aceitável deste, e (b) petoxamida, ou um sal agricolamente aceitável desta, em que (a) e (b) são adicionados cada um em uma quantidade suficiente para produzir um efeito herbicida sinergético, na vegetação ou na área adjacente à vegetação ou aplicados no solo para prevenir a emergência ou crescimento de vegetação.
