Abstract
A presente invenção se refere a uma lanterna alimentada com energia solar contendo um elemento de iluminação alimentado por uma bateria recarregável. O elemento de iluminação é formado integralmente com uma tampa de garrafa que pode ser rosqueada em uma garrafa plástica descartável, de modo que os diodos emissores de luz (LEDs) do elemento de iluminação se estendam por dentro da garrafa. Um painel fotovoltaico sobre a tampa recarrega a bateria durante as horas de luz solar. A presente invenção poderá ser usada para fornecer acesso à luz por um baixo custo nos paÃses em desenvolvimento, podendo servir, nos paÃses em desenvolvimento, para fins estéticos e/ou promocionais.
