Abstract
MÃTODO PARA DESINTOXICAR UM HERBICIDA ANÃLOGO DE AUXINA, MÃTODO PARA CONTROLAR PELO MENOS UMA ERVA EM UMA ÃREA DE CULTIVO, MÃTODO PARA TESTAR UMA RESPOSTA DE PLANTA A UM OU MAIS COMPOSTOS" Trata-se de composições e métodos para desintoxicar um herbicida análogo de auxina através do uso de pelo menos um polipeptÃdeo GH3 tendo atividade de conjugação do herbicida análogo de aminoácido/auxina. Tais polipeptÃdeos GH3 na presença de um herbicida análogo de auxina produzirão um conjugado de análogo de aminoácido/auxina tendo atividade herbicida reduzida. Vários métodos de empregar os polipeptÃdeos GH3 e os polinucleotÃdeos que codificam os mesmos são fornecidos. Tais métodos incluem métodos desintoxicar um herbicida análogo de auxina que compreende aplicar a uma planta, uma célula vegetal ou uma semente um herbicida análogo de auxina, sendo que uma planta, célula vegetal ou semente compreende um polinucleotÃdeo heterólogo que codifica um polipeptÃdeo GH3 e uma expressão do polipeptÃdeo GH3 produz um conjugado de aspartato/análogo de auxina não herbicida ou um conjugado de glutamate/análogo de auxina. Métodos adicionais para controlar pelo menos uma erva em uma área de cultivo que compreende uma cultura ou uma semente da cultura são fornecidos, como são os métodos de desintoxicar um material contaminado tendo um herbicida análogo de auxina.
