RESUMOPatente de Invenção: "CABEÇAS FEMORAIS, INSERÇÕES MÓVEIS, COMPONENTES ACETABULARES E JUNÇÕES MODULARES PARA IMPLANTES ORTOPÉDICOS E MÉTODOS PARA USO DE CABEÇAS FEMORAIS, INSERÇÕES MÓVEIS, COMPONENTES ACETABULARES E JUNÇÕES MODULARES PARA IMPLANTES ORTOPÉDICOS". A presente invenção refere-se a cabeças femorais, inserções móveis, componentes acetabulares e junções modulares para implantes ortopédicos, por exemplo, implantes de substituição de quadril e métodos para uso de cabeças femorais, inserções móveis, componentes acetabulares e junções modulares para implantes ortopédicos. Cabeças femorais protéticas, inserções móveis e componentes acetabulares são providos, os quais podem aliviar a colisão do tecido mole, reduzir o desgaste do implante e/ou reduzir o torque friccional. Junções modulares são providas, as quais podem minimizar a incidência de afrouxamento e micromoção que podem ocorrer em junções modulares de implantes ortopédicos.
