MÃTODO PARA AUMENTAR A RESISTÃNCIA A FUNGOS EM UMA PLANTA, CONSTRUÃÃO DE VETOR RECOMBINANTE, PLANTA TRANSGÃNICA, MÃTODO PARA A PRODUÃÃO DE UMA PLANTA TRANSGÃNICA, USO DOS ÃCIDOS NUCLEICOS EXÃGENOS, PARTE COLHÃVEL DE UMA PLANTA TRANSGÃNICA, PRODUTO, MÃTODOS PARA A PRODUÃÃO DE UM PRODUTO E PARA O MELHORAMENTO DE UMA PLANTA RESISTENTE A FUNGOS. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para aumentar a resistência contra os fungos patogênicos da ordem Pucciniales , preferencialmente da família Phacopsoraceae , em plantas e/ou células vegetais. Isto é conseguido pelo aumento da expressão de uma proteína HCP4 ou fragmento desta em uma planta, parte de planta e /ou célula vegetal em comparação com plantas tipo selvagem, partes de planta tipo selvagem e/ou células vegetais tipo selvagem. Além disso, a invenção refere-se à s plantas transgênicas, partes de planta transgênica e/ou células vegetais transgênicas que têm um aumento na resistência contra agentes patogênicos fúngicos, em particular, patógenos da ordem Pucciniales , preferencialmente da família Phacopsoraceae , e vetores de expressão recombinantes compreendendo uma sequência que é idêntica ou homóloga a uma sequência que codifica uma proteína HCP4.
