Abstract
RESUMO"MÉTODO PARA TRATAR ARGILA E AGREGADOS CONTENDO ARGILA E COMPOSIÇÕES PARA O MESMO"Trata-se de composições e métodos que envolvem o uso de um polímero de enxerto de carboxilato que tem alto peso molecular e baixa razão entre grupos ácido e grupos polioxialquileno. Tal mitigação de argila é particularmente útil para tratar argila e agregados contendo argila, particularmente aqueles agregados usados para propósitos de construção. A presente invenção minimiza a necessidade de lavar os agregados, conservando, desse modo, o teor de agregados finos (sólidos finos) em materiais de construção, e beneficiando, assim, o desempenho e/ou propriedades de materiais de construção que contêm os agregados contendo argila.
