Abstract
APARELHO CONTENDO MÃLTIPLAS ÃREAS DE AQUECIMENTO INFRAVERMELHO UTILIZADAS SEQUENCIALMENTE PARA OBJETOS TUBULARES. Compreende aparelho para aquecer um objeto tubular alongado, tal como uma capa termorretrátil aplicada em volta de uma junta de tubo soldado durante a construção da tubulação; o aparelho possui um formato de estrutura que pode ser disposto sobre o objeto, a estrutura tendo um dispositivo aquecedor tendo tanto regiões de aquecimento dispostas longitudinalmente quanto setores de aquecimento dispostos radialmente, cada qual podendo ser independentemente controlado; alternativamente ou em combinação, o aparelho pode ter um sistema de circulação de ar; além disso, é fornecido um método para encolher uma capa termorretrátil compreendendo o uso do referido aparelho.
