Abstract
TÉCNICAS PARA CONFIGURAR CONTATOS DE UM CONECTOR.A presente invenção refere-se a sistemas e métodos para configurar contatos de um primeiro conector que incluem detectar a união de um segundo conector ao primeiro conector e, em resposta à detecção, enviar um comando em um dos contatos e aguardar uma resposta ao comando. Se uma resposta válida ao comando for recebida, o sistema determina a orientação do segundo conector. A resposta também inclui informações de configuração para contatos no segundo conector. O sistema configura, então, alguns dos outros contatos do primeiro conector com base na orientação determinada e nas informações de configuração dos contatos do segundo conector.
