Abstract
PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR UM 1,2-BENZISOTIAZOLIN-3-ONA OU UM SAL DA MESMA E PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR 1,2-BENZISOTIAZOLIN-3-ONA OU O SAL DE SÃDIO. O hidrato de sulfeto de sódio é pelo menos parcialmente desidratado aquecendo-se com N-metil 2-pirrolidona. A 2-Clorobenzamida é adicionada à mistura que é aquecida adicionalmente. A mistura é resfriada e tratada com peróxido de hidrogênio aquoso a fim de gerar o sal de sódio de 1,2-benzisotiazolin-3-ona em bom rendimento. Uma acidificação, se desejada, origina a 1,2-benzisotiazolin-3-ona livre.
