Abstract
FERULOIL-COA:MONOLIGNOL TRANSFERASE DE HIBISCUS CANNABINUS.A invenção se refere a ácidos nucleicos isolados que codificam uma feruloilCoA:monolignol transferase e enzimas feruloil-CoA:monolignol transferase. Os ácidos nucleicos isolados e/ou as enzimas permitem a incorporação de monolignol ferulatos na lignina de plantas, onde tais monolignol ferulatos incluem, por exemplo, pcoumaril ferulato, coniferil ferulato e/ou sinapil ferulato. A invenção também inclui métodos e plantas que incluem ácidos nucleicos que codificam uma enzima feruloilCoA: monolignol transferase e/ou enzimas feruloil-CoA:monolignol transferase.
