Expõe-se um bocal de esnórquel (10) tendo um núcleo de compartimento duplo (16, 26) o qual define um espaço anular (40) formado entre os compartimentos e que tem uma matriz de defletores (66) dispostos no espaço anular para definir um percurso de fluxo em serpentina para gases de arrefecimento que passam através do espaço anular.
