MÉTODO PARA O AUMENTO DO NÚMERO DE NÓDULOS NA RAIZ DE UMA PLANTA A presente invenção relaciona-se com o uso de sedaxano (SDX) para aumentar o número de nódulos nas raízes de uma planta quando comparado com as raízes de uma planta do tipo controle não tratada através da aplicação do referido SDX a uma planta e/ou ao seu lócus e/ou ao material de programação da planta e depois do crescimento da referida planta ou do material de propagação. Em uma modalidade particular, a referida planta é soja e o referido material de propagação é uma semente.
