Abstract
MÃTODOS PARA FACILITAR RECUPERAÃÃO MUSCULAR APÃS UM PERÃODO DE DESUSO EMPREGANDO O BETA-HIDRÃXI-BETA-METILBUTIRATO. São revelados métodos que utilizam o beta-hidóxi-beta-metilbutirato (HMB), para facilitar a recuperação muscular após um perÃodo de desuso muscular. O HMB facilita a recuperação de massa muscular num indivÃduo e pode também ser usado para prevenir a atrofia muscular tipicamente associada com a recapacitação muscular após perÃodos prolongados de desuso muscular no indivÃduo. Os métodos revelados podem ser particularmente adequados para adultos mais velhos.
