A camada impressa inclui urna composição de mudança de cor para indicar urna mudança na condição, tal corno urna mudança na umidade. A composição de mudança de cor inclui um componente formador de matriz, um corante leuco, um ácido de Lewis, um tensoativo neutro e um solvente orgânico.
