Abstract
BACTERIÓFAGO P4 RECOMBINANTE E MÉTODOS PARA SEU USO. Formas modificadas de bacteriocinas ocorrendo naturalmente, tal como as piocinas tipo R de Pseudomonas aeruginosa, são divulgadas como são métodos para produzi-las em organismos GRAS. As bacteriocinas são modificadas nas extremidades de suas fibras de cauda em uma região responsável pela especificidade e afinidade de ligação para seus parceiros de ligação cognatos, ou receptores, tal como aqueles na superfície de bactérias. Métodos para uso das bacteriocinas modificadas, tal como para ligar receptores, incluindo fatores de virulência ou adequação,nas superfícies de bactérias também são descritos.
