A presente invenção refere-se a compostos de Fórmula 1, N-óxidos, e sais dos mesmos, em que Z é O ou S; A1, A2, A3 e A4 são, independentemente, N ou CR1, desde que apenas um de A1, A2, A3 e A4 é N; e R1, R2, R3 e Q são conforme definidos na revelação. Também são reveladas composições que contêm os compostos de Fórmula 1 e métodos para controlar um nematoide parasitário que compreende colocar o nematoide parasitário ou seu ambiente em contato com uma quantidade biologicamente eficaz de um composto ou uma composição da invenção.
