Abstract
DISPOSITIVOS E MÉTODOS PARA FORNECIMENTO INTRAVAGINAL DE MEDICAMENTOS E OUTRAS SUBSTÂNCIAS. A presente tecnologia proporciona dispositivos intravaginais destinados a entregar por via intravaginal difícil formular solúveis em água, as moléculas e macromoléculas, por um período de tempo sustentado. Os dispositivos incluem uma câmara que tem pelo menos um orifício e que contém uma formulação de libertação sustentada. Tais formulações incluem um polímero que incha com água e uma substância administrável por via intravaginal. Os métodos de produzir e utilizar os dispositivos também são fornecidos.
