Um método de uma região de um cano (1) suspenso em água do mar dentro de um membro tubular (4) de tal forma que o cano (1) é espaçado a partir do membro tubular (4) contra corrosão compreendendo a etapa de introduzir um líquido (7) fornecendo ou adaptado para fornecer proteção de corrosão para o cano (1) dentro do espaço (5) entre o cano (1) e o membro tubular (4) para deslocar água do mar dentro do espaço (5) de tal forma que o líquido (7) envolve a região selecionada do cano (1).
