Compsoições farmacêuticas contendo um composto da fórmula (I) em que os radicais indicam, por exemplo: R ^1^ é hidrogênio ou alquila C ~1~-C ~8~; R ^2^ é hidrogênio ou alquila C ~1~-C ~8~; R ^3^ é hidrogênio ou alquila C ~1~-C ~8~; R ^4^ é OH; R ^5^ é hidrogênio e um derivado de ciclodextrina farmaceuticamente aceitável pode ser usado para a preparação de formulações oftálmicas.
