Abstract
UM MÃTODO DE TRATAMENTO DE PLANTA PARA INIBIR A INFECÃÃO POR FUNGOS PATOGÃNICOS, COMPOSIÃÃO ALIMENTAR OU RAÃÃES PROCESSADAS.São providas plantas transgênicas que expressam a proteÃna antifúngica KP4, as quais exibem nÃveis elevados de resistência antifúngica. Tais plantas transgênicas contêm um construto de DNA recombinante compreendendo uma sequência de peptÃdeo de sinal heterólogo que é operacionalmente ligada a uma sequência de ácido nucleico não-nativo codificando uma proteÃna antifúngica KP4 madura.
