O núcleo de um rolo recebe um tampão que se encaixa em um cubo dentro do dispensador . O tampão tem um recurso que altera um campo eletromagnético criado próximo ao cubo .A alteração do campo eletromagnético poderá, em seguida , ser usada para determinar se o tampão ,e , por conseguinte, o rolo ,é utilizável com o dispensador
