Abstract
POLÍMEROS ARBORESCENTES TENDO UM NÚCLEO COM UMA ALTA TEMPORADA DE TRANSIÇÃO DO VIDRO E PROCESSO PARA A FABRICAÇÃO DO MESMO. A presente invenção refere-se a polímeros arborescentes compreendendo isoolefinas e monômeros estirênicos, bem como processos para fabricação dos mesmos. Em particular, a invenção refere-se a copolímeros em bloco altamente ramificados compreendendo um núcelo arborescente com uma alta temperatura de transição do vidro (Tg) e ramificações presas ao núcleo terminadas em segmentos poliméricos de bloco terminal com uma baixa Tg. Os copolímeros da invenção exibem, desejavelmente, propriedades elastoméricas termoplásticas e, em uma modalidade são, desejavelmente, adequados à aplicações biomédicas.
