Abstract
DISPOSITIVO INGERÍVEL MINIATURA. A presente invenção múltiplas abordagens para evitar que as paredes de cápsulas de outro material interfiram com o desempenho de um dispositivo eletrônico, uma vez que o dispositivo é ativado por fluido circundante. De acordo com os ensinamentos da presente invenção, um dispositivo ingerível miniatura (MID) pode ser criado usando excipientes e filmes. O MID, de acordo com vários aspectos da presente invenção, terá um revestimento ou uma laminação circundando um dispositivo eletrônico e separando e isolando o dispositivo do produto farmacêutico ou fármaco dentro da cápsula, uma vez que a cápsula é ingerida assim como da própria cápsula quando as paredes de cápsula começam a entrar em colapso durante o processo de desintegração.
