Abstract
DISPOSITIVO DE IGNIÇÃO POR CENTELHA ELÉTRODO TERRA PARA O MESMO, E MÉTODOS PARA SUA CONSTRUÇÃO Um dispositivo de ignição por centelha, eletrodo terra para o mesmo, e métodos de sua construção são providos. O dispositivo de ignição por centelha (10) inclui um isolador cerâmico geralmente anular (12) com uma carcaça metálica (22) circundando parede lateral uma porção do isolador cerâmico. Um eletrodo centra (20) é recebido, pelo menos parcialmente, no isolador cerâmico e um elétrodo terra (24) se estende da carcaça até uma porão de extremidade livre (26). Uma ponta de ignição (27) é acoplada é acoplada adjacente à porção de extremidade livre do eletrodo terra para prover um vão de centelha (28) entre o elétrodo central e a ponta de ignição. A porção de extremidade livre é, pelo menos parcialmente limitada por pelo menos uma lateral periférica ''cortada a laser'' (30) se estendendo adjacente á ponta de ignição.
