A estabilidade de enzimas em um detergente em pó pode ser significativamente muito melhor pela combinação de quatro medidas: adição de agente redutor/catalisador que decompõe peróxido/antioxidante ao núcleo ou ao revestimento; aidção de um cátion multivalente ao núcleo; adição de um tampão ácido ao núcleo ou ao revestimento; aplicação de um revestimento de sal no núcleo.
