Abstract
PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR, COMPOSIÇÃO, USO. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação 4-cicloexil-2-metil-2-butanol. O processo compreende os seguintes estágios: a) reação de estireno com isopropanol em uma temperatura elevada, dando-4-fenil-2-metil-2-butanol, e b) hidrogenação catalítica heterogênea de 4-fenil-2-metil-2-butanol por meio de um catalisador adequado para a hidrogenação de nel de aromáticos.
