Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO PARA PURIFICAÇÃO DE ETANOL".Em uma modalidade, a invenção é um processo para a produção de uma corrente de água compreendendo as etapas desidrogenação de ácido acético para formar um produto etanol bruto e separação de pelo menos uma porção do produto etanol bruto em pelo menos uma coluna de uma pluralidade de colunas em um destilado compreendendo etanol e um resíduo compreendendo a corrente de água. A corrente de água preferivelmente é essencialmente livre de outras impurezas orgânicas que não ácido acético e etanol.
