A presente invenção fornece uma célula bacteriana gram negativa recombinante que compreende um gene spr mutante que codifica uma proteína spr tendo uma mutação em um ou mais aminoácidos selecionados de D133, H145, H157, N31, R62, I70, Q73, C94,S95, V98, R100, L108, Y115, V135, L136, G140, R144 E G147 e em que a célula possui atividade de proteína Tsp reduzida comparada com uma célula do tipo selvagem.
