Abstract
MÉTODO DE PRODUÇÃO DE IMPLANTES ANTIMICROBIANOS DE POLIETERETERCETONA. São divulgados métodos de fabricação de dispositivos medicinais implantáveis, preferencialmente com PEEK, que possuem propriedades antimicrobianas. O efeito antimicrobiano é produzido através da incorporação de partículas de cerâmica contendo cátions metálicos antimicrobianos dentro da resina de PEEK fundida, que é subsequentemente permitida resfriar a ser ajustada em seu formato final conseguindo através de moldagem por injeção, corte e usinagem ou outras técnicas.
