A invenção se refere a membros de ligação, especialmente às moléculas de anticorpos, que neutralizam os efeitos biológicos do citomegalovírus humano (hCMV). Os membros de ligação são úteis para o tratamento e a profilaxia da infecção pelo hCMV.
