Abstract
PORÇÃO DE LIGAÇÃO QUE SE LIGA A UM EPÍTOPO CONFORMACIONAL FORMADO FORMADO POR SEQUÊNCIAS DE AMINOÁCIDOS, ANTICORPO OU FRAGMENTO DO MESMO, COMPOSIÇÃO FARMACÊUTICA, E, USO DE UMA PORÇÃO DE OU UM ANTICORPO OU FRAGMENTO DO MESMO DE LIGAÇÃO A ANTÍGENO. A presente invenção se refere a porções ligação que se ligam especificamente a um epítopo conformacional de C5a, em particular C5a de humano. As porções de ligação preferidas são anticorpos anti-C5a que se ligam a este epítopo conformacional. As porções de ligação aqui descritas são usadas como agente ativos em composições farmacêuticas para p tratamento e prevenção de várias doenças agudas e crônicas, em particular doenças inflamatórias agudas, tais como a síndrome da resposta inflamatória sistêmica (SIRS), e diferentes graus de sepse incluindo sepse, sepse grave e choque séptico.
