Abstract
STREAMING MULTIMÍDIA ADAPTATIVO.São revelados um método, um sistema e um programa de computador para executar adaptativamente fluxos contínuos de conteúdo multimídia. Um gerenciador adaptativo de fluxos monitora pelo menos um parâmetro de um terminal de usuário. O gerenciador adaptativo de fluxos monitora pelo menos um parâmetro do terminal de usuário e prediz o valor futuro de pelo menos um parâmetro do terminal de usuário. O gerenciador adaptativo de fluxos também seleciona uma característica-alvo com base no valor futuro predito pelo menos um parâmetro do terminal de usuário e solicita um segmento de multimídia que tenha a característica-alvo de um servidor de meios.
