A presente invenção refere-se à produtos médicos dilatáveis tendo contato de curto prazo com o organismo, como ex, catéteres de balão revestidos com pelo menos uma camada de pelo menos um agente antiproliferativo, imunosupressor, anti-angiogênico, anti-inflamatório, fungicida e/ou anti-trombótico e um mediador de transporte ou uma mistura de mediadores de transporte, métodos para revestir os produtos médicos dilatáveis revestidos e o uso de composições para este revestimento.
