Abstract
PROCESSO PARA SINTETIZAR UM COMPOSTO. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para sintetizar furano e compostos relacionados por decarbonilação em fase de vapor de furfural e derivados, utilizando um catalisador de paládio/aluminato de metal que foi promovido com um carbonato alcalino, tal como carbonato de césio. O uso de tais catalisadores, que são inerentemente menos ácidos do que a alumina, resulta em uma vida útil aperfeiçoada e alta produtividade.
