EMBALAGEM PARA O ACONDICIONAMENTO E TRANSPORTE DE REJEITO RADIOATIVO. A presente invenção se refere a uma embalagem para o acondicionamento e transporte de rejeito radioativo de baixa atividade específica (BAE), fabricada em polietileno linear adequado às características físicas, químicas, biológicas e radiológicas, desse tipo de rejeito radioativo, que compreende uma base (1) e uma tampa (2), ambos em formato substancialmente retangular, com um sistema de fechamento por pressão, que garante a estanqueidade da embalagem durante o acondicionamento e transporte do rejeito radioativo.
