A composição repelente de insetos da invenção pertence ao setor tecnológico de inseticidas químicos, mais especificamente refere-se a uma composição de repelente líquido de insetos, especificamente mosquitos, de base aquosa para uso em emanador elétrico, que proporciona uma taxa de emanação contínua e estável do repelente. A composição repelente de insetos compreende: piretróide (0,2 a 1,5%), cossolvente (4 a 8%), tensoativo aniônico ou não iônico (1 a 6 %), antioxidante (0,01% a 0,1%), conservante (0,01 a 2%) e água (85% a 95%).
