FORMULAÇÃO FARMACÊUTICA À BASE DE FOLHAS DE TERMINALIA CATAPPA PARA TRATAMENTO DAS LEISHMANIOSES E DOENÇA DE CHAGAS. A presente invenção trata de uma formulação farmacêutica a partir de uma fração obtida de folhas da espécie vegetal Terminalia catappa L. visando o tratamento, controle e/ou prevenção de doenças causadas por protozoários, especialmente as leishmanioses e a doença de Chagas. Tal formulação pode ser administrada por via oral e tópica em diferentes formas farmacêuticas, tais como: comprimidos, cápsulas, soluções, xaropes, pomadas, cremes e géis.
