A presente descrição se refere a um sistema de controle passivo de uma asa oscilante, com a finalidade de causar a inversão do movimento da asa oscilante ao atingir a amplitude definida no projeto. O sistema é formado por duas barras vinculadas, formando um mecanismo tipo biela-manivela, em que a biela tem um movimento axial prescrito pelo perfil de um came. A asa oscilante é aplicada na geração de energia a partir de fluxo de fluido, por exemplo, energia de correntes oceânicas.
