MÉTODO PARA OTIMIZAÇÃO DE ALGORITMO DE RETROPROPAGAÇÃO DIGITAL EM SISTEMAS DE COMUNICAÇÕES ÓPTICAS.Inserido no campo da Engenharia de Telecomunicações, propõe a otimização conjunta de algoritmos de retropropagação digital (DBP - Digital Backpropagation), empregados no transmissor, no receptor ou em ambos, para a mitigação de efeitos lineares e não lineares de propagação na fibra óptica, reduzindo assim a taxa de erros do sistema e possibilitando a maximização de seu alcance e de sua capacidade de transmissão de dados.
