Abstract

CREME COM ÓLEOS ESSENCIAIS COM ATIVIDADE ANTIMICROBIANA INIBITÓRIA CONTRA Staphylococcus aureus. A presente invenção descreve um produto antimicrobiano produzido a partir de óleos essenciais de Cymbopogon flexuosus, Origanum vulgare e Thymus vulgaris dentre outros com atividade antimicrobiana comprovada após realização do método de discodifusão e determinação da concentração inibitória mínima (MIC) pela técnica de microdiluição em caldo contra Staphylococcus aureus. Os óleos essenciais poderão ser utilizados em sua forma livre e combinados, estabilizados no formato de creme e/ou pomada. O creme foi produzido através de processo de agitação compreendendo água, agente de viscosidade e óleos essenciais como agentes ativos. Este creme poderá ser utilizado no tratamento e/ou prevenção de infecções causadas pela S. aureus como a mastite bovina.
